By simple you mean completely irrelevant and out of sync with reality. So, thanks for proving that point aswell.
You can project all you want, but at the end of the day you’re just triggered because I called you out on your self righteous victim BS.

By the way, I am happy to see that you’re making some effort at learning some new words, congrats.

Just catching up here, while still on vacation. Amazing reality TV style entertainment. 👏 Goes from funny to dramatic!

I got through 3 pages, and just had to look up to see which thread I was in because it wasn't really obvious at that point. 😅

Misinformed and choosing to be misinformed on purpose because it fits your agenda are two different things.
Please give an example of something that's not just a different opinion than yours where I'm choosing to be misinformed.

I never run out of things to play solo or with friends on my XBox. It does everything I need it to. I’m confused... so we supposed to be mad and hate MS and should all go Sony?

This fanboy s*** in the gaming sections here has gotten really old. The Console Warz should be over. We live in the greatest point in history to be a gamer.
Wanting more from MS doesn't mean you have to go all Sony, it would be great if people would actually respond to what people actually say without adding their own spin to counter something that was never said.

If you spend $500 on a machine you should have a new game that takes advantage of it's capabilities from 1st party on day one, hell you should have a few in the first 6 months, it's insane that you'd wait a year for the first AAA new game to play on a next gen console (2 years since the last AAA game from the company) and think it's just fine, the quality of management at xbox studios is obviously lacking and that starts with Spencer.

Wrong and lies.

It does everything I need it to, has games I play, and a great online functionality that keeps me gaming with friends I’ve met online over a decade ago. I’m happy with my purchase only a couple glitches and problems have annoyed me since I went next gen.

I’ve noticed that mainly fanboys and console warz enthusiasts live and die by exclusives. I work for a living and have a family, I’m happy with a XBox and a Switch with the time I do have to game. I don’t even always play all the exclusives because I play what I feel like playing. Some of the BS you guys spout as facts when it’s actually opinion gets old. Not singling you out but a few posters her post like they’re 12 year olds. Joking around is one thing which I do a lot, but some here take it beyond that and I’m tired of it. Makes me not even want to post in the gaming sections anymore unless it’s something I’m playing at the time.

It's not a fanboy thing to want the company who just put out a $500 machine to have software releases in place at launch and on a semi regular basis after the fact. When the One X launched Phil Spencer said "we needed to get the hardware right first, now we can get the software right" (paraphrasing) and that's totally backwards. They should have gotten the software ready to play on the hardware first, they are now 3.5 years after the One X launch and 6 months after a new console launch and they still have the same problem they have had for almost 10 years. If you are fine playing old games or playing 3rd party stuff that's totally fine you aren't wrong for that it suits your needs but to say people who want new AAA 1st party content are fanboys or console war enthusiasts isn't fair at all.

I don't think he's pointing out if you want AAA exclusives you're a fanboy, it's more like people basing whole arguments on exclusives, or that you don't even need an xbox since all the exclusives will be on PC, even though it is true a lot of people just don't care or don't want to dump a lot of money on a PC to be grouped in with hackers etc.

I'll always be a multi console owner, the only thing I'd want a PC for is the total war series and even then I get a little fix with mount and blade on console.

Exclusives are what separate the platforms, MS and Sony basically are within a hair of each other on the tech every time so it's the exclusives that define the platform. I just think it's sad that people stick up for the lack of content, MS should never have let it get that way and their fans should be letting them know it.

Jim Ryan just lead PlayStation to their biggest launch ever in both money brought in and unit sales, he had true next gen games ready for launch and throughout the first year and people are still calling for his head because they're going to release another old game on PC and because MLB took the Show to xbox as if he had any choice in that lol. I'm not a Jim Ryan fan and I think Sony fans went too far and he's actually done a good job so far, Phil Spencer on the other hand hasn't done anything other than continue to talk and most xbox fans act as if he's just this awesome guy that can do no wrong. What good is being able to play first party AAA games day one for $10 a month when they only release one every year and a half on average?

You should have held out until the fall. You knew your complaints going in. At least Xbox offered no false promises of what’s ahead unlike another company.

You’re a broken record dude. Saying it over and over again doesn’t suddenly make it work, lol. You couldn’t make a point on a bed of nails.

You always come in here with the same shtick, the woe is me, victim shtick. Really, it’s you asserting that you know better than everyone else and if they don’t see things your way, than they’re some kind of fanboy and you’re a victim by being here. It’s self-righteous, veiled elitism and I called you out on it.

I tried to do it in a indirect way at first and see if you’d get it, but no you got triggered and defaulted to your usual nonsense because you have no recourse when you’re wrong.

Denial from a delusionist.

Again you just seeing what you want to see despite it having nothing to do with reality. Just more made up BS. Just your usual nonsense because you have no recourse when you're wrong.

Still proving my point by the way.

It is just what they do in here.

This makes zero sense lol
Their biggest problem through all of last gen wasn't that they were the weaker console it was that their first party output was few and far between and that new AAA IP didn't seem to be a driving focus, hell that goes back to the second half of the gen before. They should have focused on growing studios and making more games, it's not like they didn't already have a console to play the games on. The One X (and Pro) never sold better than the base machines, not even close, they were for a niche crowd.

Not sure you can really say that. Last gen the Xbox was doomed with the reveal. While the lack of new exciting exclusives played a part, the reveal was the big issue through out last gen.

The reveal yes but that was because their strategy was stupid, offer a more expensive console with a peripheral nobody wanted (kinect sales slowed dramatically 6 months after it launched) and have your debut focus on tv integration instead of games.

Once they did start talking about games the DRM issues came up and then after they backtracked on that they start saying "we were going to allow digital sharing" yet when asked how that would have worked everyone from MS who answered the question gave a different answer. There was no way digital sharing was going to be allowed, 3rd parties wouldn't have gone with it and IF it were true MS would have brought that up earlier. They just came across as dishonest with that.

The One X didn't increase xbox's position, most people who bought it were existing xbox one owners who upgraded, a big new game could have done more to increase their customer base than a refresh console. Most people who bought PS4 Pro's were PS4 owners who upgraded as well, neither one was more than 20% of sales.

Did being weaker hurt xbox? yeah a little but if they had come out at the same price or even slightly below the price of PS4 that would have helped a lot, they lost control of the narrative at the start though and they were never going to be able to fully recover from that.

That's an opinion but let's be real here neither one had amazing 1st party games on launch day. Ryse, Dead Rising 3 and, Killzone are not very good games. The best launch window game for xbox was titanfall and that was a 3rd party game they bought exclusivity for and Sony had InFamous SS which was a really good game that came out a few months after the console did.
