It bothers me because we have an unfinished game that the minute someone goes "frame rate dips below 30" it turns the internet into a daycare center.I don't care about the performance of a game until I pull it out of a blue or green box. The studio has all the time they need until it goes gold to finish their work.
And this gen it isn't just normal reporting. Frame rate and resolution matter all of a sudden so we must take alpha builds of games, write 14 paragraphs about bad frame rate, and watch the gaming community get stupid.
I also blame people on forums. Everyone should know better than to be worried about an unfinished game's frame rate, but the minute that dude said it dipped below 30 you saw the response.
I don't see anyone acting like babies here after hearing that news. Just simply pondering why the drops even with the boost. Of course we know optimizations are still underway so no one here is putting out any strong reactions yet.
