If asscreed ends up 30fps I blame the idiots at Ubisoft.
It's the devs fault period.
Yes, but most console games have been 30fps since then, too.Hasn’t 60FPS games been around since the SNES/genesis era?
SHUT THE HELL UP! Minecraft needs 120!Nor should it.
I just hope 120FPS is optional mode in any game supporting it. Pretty pointless for the vast majority.
So people called out Aaron when it was announced that AC was 30fps, but they didn't call him out when they announced Dirt 5 was 120fps. 120fps =/= 60fps standard. The standard is 60fps.
The standard is not a mandate.
So 60fps is therefore NOT the standard.
Someone needs to gag Greenberg, people are still quoting the dumb s*** he said early Xbox One gen and he seems to be off to an equally goofy path with Series X.
Yeah, and they look like it.And yet we have the least powerful modern cnsole out there having majority of their AAA first party games at 60fps
Well, standard doesn't always mean mandate though. The standard is 60fps.

Yes, and that's why I personally prefer 30fps in everything except racing and fighting games. I much rather have assassins creed at a locked 30 with as much effects and res as possible than 60 with less. That's my opinion of course but I'm fairly certain most casuals will get hooked by Graphics > Performance whence why most devs go that route still considering it's entirely possible to nerf the rest and go higher in fps for many games released this far.Yeah, and they look like it.

But yes, he's clearly not the right spokesperson lol
Yeah. They've come too far to stsrt messing up now. Greenberg needs to have a waffle and STFU.The standard is 60fps.

And it can have it, as an optional mode.SHUT THE HELL UP! Minecraft needs 120!
I don't know about that. IMO they need to show their weakness( 1st part exclusives) is no longer a massive weakness. And the thing is, with all the tech and services Xbox is providing with the Series X, it will basically sell itself. Its shaping up to be the most impressive xbox ever. If they would just talk about some of their strengths( Cross generational play, Game-pass, Backwards compatibility, Xbox Velocity Architecture etc.) more and show some games that appear to be next gen, that would go a long way to exhibiting the xbox brand. Instead we're starting to get a muddled message that will confuse and sometimes anger consumers.
Despite all that though, unless they take a MAJOR misstep with marketing or price, the series x is going to sell like hot cakes in Nov-Dec and will probably be hard to find in stock until March or April of 2021.
That's on the way. Good times!I don't know about that. IMO they need to show their weakness( 1st part exclusives) is no longer a massive weakness.
Yep. As long as it isn't a fast paced game and its stable (rock solid), I have zero problems with 30fps. Hell, I played all through the Witcher3 at 30fps on the one X (even though it has a 60fps option). Same with Forza Horizon 4- though I would have preferred those visuals with 60fps. Racing really does benefit. I like nice visuals. I play for escapism as much as the sport/challenge.Yes, and that's why I personally prefer 30fps in everything except racing and fighting games.
