Just strange to see the most anticiapted, hyped, console-defining game being given away with an XboxOne purchase. It's not even a real SE bundle, with graphics on the consoles, or even the TF controller.
Must be trying to move stock sitting in stores, imo.

I'm pretty tempted. $499 + Titanfall for NA folk like myself. Thing is though, I work at Target. I get 10% off. Don't have a redcard, but if I got one, I could reduce the price around $425 or something like that. Then I think about possibly waiting for a $50 cut. Then I'd get it for under $400. Tough call man. Tough call.
Aggressive, competitive Microsoft is best Microsoft. Although yowzers for dropping the price after a mere 3 months.

I remember when people said MS is not going to drop the price at all until at least Fall/Christmas 2014.
Why is it so expensive over there? Even with the drop it is still cheaper here in North America.
Everything game related is more expensive over here, at least upon release. The good thing is that new game prices generally drop really quickly if you are willing to wait a month or two.

in america there was no game price increase (x360 was $60, x1 is $60)
in UK the games used to cost £40 on x360 now on x1 they cost £50-55. its kinda ridiculous

and you blame MS for that ? like we didn't know what was coming in the first few months of the console life cycle.
The reason for the UK is most likely the 20% VAT imposed on everything. if you take that away from the price it converts close to US prices.

Notice they aren't giving away physical copies of Titanfall included inside the SKU - you get a card, or maybe a PoS code to redeem.
The bundle could also be because MS has to ship so many Titanfall units as per contract with EA, when they signed that exclusivity deal with them. It's no wonder that you don't hear too much about the "delayed" Xbox360 version of Titanfall. Why pay $499 to play it, when you can do it for $199?
Killer Instinct. I rented Ryse but no point to stick with it after I beat it. Also rented Forza but sent it back next day lol. As for ps4 I only bought Kz originally but I rented bf4 and then I ended up buying Bf4 on valentines day.
Tbh the main reason I got xb1 at launch was for Ryse and Ki but I thought KI would have longer legs than it did. I like the game but I was disappointed in it as well. Normally I play fighting games non stop. The last soul calibur and Dead or Alive I bought I played those so much it was insane. I can't do that with Ki for some reason.
I just wish I would have waited for a price drop instead of getting the system at launch. At the time I also had planned on getting Titanfall for xb1 but whats the point if it's going to be 720p might as well just get it on pc.
We'll see if it comes in slip sleeve box then.
