I see bf1/dice using and talking about it.
Let's see... A 4.2 TF's GPU gaining around 30%(I know it's not double) seems exactly like what we get with bf1 on the Pro. 30% gains with tacked on examples like bf1 is nothing to overlook and who's to say more gains can't be achieved by other devs when they get more time?
I know it's bothering you (2 much) but I never said Scorpio isn't more powerful than Pro.
I don't think it will be that noticeably better,I do think Pro will still put out comparable and sometimes better looking games(not better versions) I do think that 4.2 to 8.4=30%(+?) that devs can work with could help like it does with bf1. Pro and Scorpio are weak one has a paper advantage on the other...one is a generation jump over its weaker predecessor both are mid gen refreshes.
Much you said I won't touch on and don't have a clue what the point is???
Day one for Scorpio but while I wait I play True ultra settings 4k/60+ fps games like Gears 4 on my PC and I realistically expect much less from my Scorpio..regardless of the overhype some have.
I don't buy the 30% gain on BF1, it's a dynamic resolution first of all so when is that number true? At max settings? It doesn't stay there under strain, hence it has issue with the lower resolution.
You were all about the "huge" advantage ps4 had over xb1, now suddenly secret sauce will close the gap. Not happening. PS4 didn't have a better cpu or more RAM and the gap was obvious. You haven't seen what DICE can do with Scorpio, lots of custom chipsets there unlike pro.
