I don't see Titanfall being the type of game that is annualized. Every two years? Sure.
Clearly he should know before every single person at Respawn. Absolute nonsense.

Not really. If the developer did not know, how would an insider? You really can't get much more insider than the developer. And if said insider were privy to such information and only a very small group of people knew that information wouldn't he very likely out himself -- and cause himself quite a bity of harm in the process -- by going public with that information? More than likely. Insiders have to pick their spots and you don't do what he has been doing for almost a decade without being smarter than that.
WTF are you talking about. He claims to be a MS employee, what does Respawn have to do with it at all? It was a EA/MS deal... so yeah he should have known. You don't think people at MS knew about this? LOL He either isn't the insider he claims to be, or he skews the information he releases. There is no ignorance excuse for him. The info he supposedly knows is vast and wide, judging form the predictions he puts on GAF..he is supposed to be someone in the know...clearly he's not

See above, being a EA/MS deal would put a MS insider more in the know than the dev who was out of the loop. Respawn not knowing is irrelevant..CBOAT doesn't supposedly work for them. Sure insiders pick and choose their info..but if he was in the know about it being a timed exclusive it would have had the same amount of risk from being leaked as leaking the new info. He sure doesn't seem to be selective in the info he shares..he shares lots of apparent leaks, yet they all are skewed to the negative for the most part
Clearly someone who claims to be an insider who spreads a breadth of info about the inner workings of MS should know about a deal...especially if he leaked other TF info.

I could see that happening. Maybe even 3 years like Halo, the annual thing with COD was clearly an Activision decision i doubt respawn wants to do that with this series. It's obvious that MS sees this as their next "Gears of War" and will push the hell out of this game.
Just think his BS has gone on long enough. If he isn't in a position to know this new news then that puts into question all the wide array of things he has said. If he did know and didn't tell then that says pretty clearly what his motives are
For now it's not, but that's not to say MS wont try throwing more money at EA or Respawn for further exclusivity.
Given Respawns staff level I don't see them being able to pump out a TF every year multiplat either.
Doesn't Black Tusk have a AAA shooter too... maybe ready in 2014-2015? Assuming it's a game meant for sequels (well, isn't every game a candidate if money talks? lol), that would be 4 shooters. I'd estimate 4 key shooters in every other year releases..... 2 shooters, then the other 2, then repeat. Then you have annual CoD, EA always seems to have BF every two years then a MOH or BFBC filler game in between.

I'm not surprised..this is EA afterall lol. EA was publishing the game so it was easy for them to snow Respawn. It will be interesting to see if Respawn sticks with EA publishing the game in the future or if they move along, Vince I don't think takes kindly to being f***ed over lol
I thought I remember it being a sci-fi shooter? Maybe I'm wrong. But hmmm.... now I remember that skyscraper stealth scene. So maybe it's not a hardcore shooter after all.
No one knows who he works for and he has never stated publicly. People have speculated. And you are reaching -- desperately. The developer did not know. That is all. And what has come out in Zampella''s twitter account pretty much confirms that he was correct. This isn't so good for MS and bad for Sony as it is bad for Respawn. I mean West pretty much confirmed that Titanfall 2 will be coming for all platforms in his twitter account before the first one is even out. Doesn't sound like a wonderful partnership, at all.

So by the sound of things it looks like after the first Titanfall, Vince and his team can just move to another publishers for sequals? Or is this something that remains to be seen? I find it a bit weird...EA went behind their back and made a deal with MS, so that makes me wonder what kind of things Respawn had agreed to in the first place. Wasnt't the first Titanfall meant to stay exclusive anyway? I recall Respawn saying the team was not big enough for multiplatform release, so i guess Respawn maybe WAS planning a PS4 release of the first one after all.

Could be another moneyhat coming if TitanFall takes off. While i don't really care if its sequel lands as another x1 exclusive(just as long as I can play it on X1 or PC I'm good) I still luv the uncertainty of it all. Makes a certain group of annoying, loud loudmouth, doom spewing fanboys bite their nails. I don't hate Sony. Just their more fanatical groupies.
He is claimed to be a verified MS employee according to GAF, and considering the majority of his leaks are Xbox division centric I wouldn't say he was an EA insider, or a Sony insider, or whatever else. And Respawn not knowing is again irrelevant as they were not part of the deal between EA and MS..or do you think no one at MS knew either? Bringing up that Respawn didn't know is nothing more than a strawman. Cboat clearly isn't a respawn insider so respawn not knowing has no relevance on whether or not cboat knew or could have known. It's clear that all he does is throw crap at the wall and hope some of it sticks, if he was in a position at MS to know that TF was a timed exclusive (which signs point to it was) then he should therefore of been in a position to know that timed exclusivity had changed.
Vince did make it seem like TF2 would go multiplat, but that is if TF does well enough to warrant a sequel, or if MS doesn't throw more money at it to secure exclusivity. Any Sony fan counting on TF2 coming to the PS4 is counting their eggs before they've hatched. Vince said a while ago that they were open to working on the PS4 in the future which lead to all the timed exclusive claims..and we know what happened with that.

Really? I figured the lack of single player would would cause the sequel to take longer to appear. Seeing as how they are focused solely on MP and need to foster the community, with updates, new maps patches etc.
It's also funny how he comes here complaining about people "gloating" considering the past few days.
Taking pleasure over other people possibly not being able to play a game while your ability to do so remains the same, is pretty much the definition.
