So when Scorpio is just a glorified Xbox One that barely runs games at 4k like the Pro then we'll revisit this discussion. Sorry guys, you can let yourselves continue to fall for Microsoft's tricks but i already took an L this gen supporting their original vision with Xbox One. I said it would get better, and it did but now they're right back to where they started this gen.
Doesn't matter to me at the end of the day. I play my Xbox more than most of the hardcore Xbox guys on this board. Like i said, Xbox will always have a place in my home. PS4 is just the better console this gen though. It's as simple as that. Was actually thinking about hooking up my cablebox to my X1 for the first time so it can get some use. Been getting dusty lately with all the great PS exclusives coming out.

At least then it'll be based on something. By the way- it IS a "glorified Xbox One", lol. It has NEVER been sold as a new generation.
That's all i've been saying since day one but people keep putting words in my mouth. Like my opinion doesn't matter because i prefer PS4, lol. I don't think Sea of Thieves or Crackdown 3 are going to tip the scale for Microsoft. It's just how i feel. They need to have more, and if they don't they're in big trouble.
Part of the reason why they lost this gen is because they royally screwed up the end of last gen. If they don't start getting things right then i don't know if there is a future for Xbox. If they're competing with Comcast and Apple TV they might be okay but as far as gaming goes, why get an Xbox when PC is better and has all the games?

I don't. But I think his Xbox jabs have a lot of truth to it. So it cuts a little closer.

Because plenty of people prefer to game on console. The PC argument has always been a fanboy argument. If we wanted to game there, we already would. It's a wholly different animal.
Isn't Phantasy Star Online a no-brainer in this day and age in gaming? Perfect cross-buy/cross-play title as well.

Guys on Scorpio will be playing against X1 owners, It will need to comply with that (unfair advantage if not), not Pro.
I have said this once and I will say this again PC never had this issue for years with people have different hardware that perform different.
So, Xbox needs games, especially JRPGs, and are partnering with SEGA... SHINING FORCE AM CONFIRM!

But they can't do that because the CPU is holding them back. I'm sure the usual suspects here will go set them straight.

How is that xbox one is holding Scorpio back, but ps4 pro(3x more powerful than Xb1) isn't? Makes no sense.

Because Sony's powerful GPU can perform two 16 bit operations at the same time, while MS can only perform one 32 bit operation in that time.

Nice. That's a step in the right direction. Developers need to smell blood. Sony is a wounded animal right now. Xbox may never come back from the sales gap but no reason why Scorpio can't go the OG Xbox route and deliver the best looking and performing games.
