You realized the $220 SSD can't run PS5 games right? You need a compatible SSD that read as least as fast.

Not sure I get what you are saying, the $220 one is for the Xbox consoles, the PS5 will require internal SSD's if you want to play PS5 games and they'll probably have to be faster than the one included in the drive because they won't have the same customizations to them, you'll also need one that's at least 2TB otherwise there is no point in upgrading so it's going to probably cost over $400. They are going to be expensive, it's all expensive and that's why I think going with a huge external HDD and just swapping games between that and the internal SSD for both machines when you want to play is the best value, otherwise you spend almost as much as a new console if you want to upgrade to another 2TB of storage.

Now is a better time to be a multi platform gamer then ever before, for me I couldn't fathom missing out on the next fallout and elder scrolls, granted they are very far away, it just feels weird they will probably end up been exclusive.

I've never been big on fallout, they always are ugly as hell and I don't find the gameplay or story particularly engaging. I like ES a lot more but I also like fantasy action RPG's in general.

It's funny, every gaming site had to "report" that there were fewer Digital Edition PS5 consoles available for pre-order than standard edition yet none of them are talking about how even fewer Xbox Series S consoles compared to Series X made available at stores

Yea each to their own, I love the post apocalyptic setting and all the little details they put in to make it seem like something was happening before the nukes, love the base building and just enjoy fallot in general, it is pretty janky and rough around the edges, I wonder if MS can get some better QA guys in there and iron out some notorious bethesda bugs.

Better Engine, more polish. Job done.

But yeah. Loved Fallout 3 and New Vegas. Fallout 4 was ok.

The quoted material from Twitter is %100 factual wrong. It’s the same info everyone you tuber and website a d now you are using to make this statement.

Since you no longer can use said material you no longer have an argument.

I know what I see as opposed to what i am hearing.

Yes, that casual audience that takes the time out of their day to preorder. 🧐
Well, we ARE in a pandemic, aren't we? And just because you order something, doesn't make you incapable of either playing games or picking up one for someone else.

Supporting devs hard work is an issue? 🙄

"The remaster for the Ps5 is no simple up res, as many of the games assets have been completely updated to take advantage of the Ps5 console's horse power. You'll see better looking characters with improved skin, eyes hair and facial animation (including a next generation Peter Parker). You'll also see ray-traced reflections and ambient shadows, improved lightimg, more pedestrians, and vehicles stretching further into the distance and the same optional preformance mode offered in Marvel's Spider-Man Miles Morales, allowing you to finally play the game at targeted 60fps. We'll be supporting near instant loading, 3D audio, and the Dual Sense Controller haptic feedback. Lastly we're adding 3 amazing new suits, new photo mode features and even new trophies for those of you looking to Platinum the game all over again.."

People flipped their s*** when 505 decided to charge for next gen upgrades on Control and rightly so. CDPR by contrast are doing full next gen upgrades on not only Cyberpunk, which is cross-gen, but on The Witcher 3 and all DLC, for free.

If this was a move Sony was proud of, you'd be able to buy the upgrade independently, but if you own the game now on PS4, the only way you can upgrade it is to buy another game (Miles) and then you unlock the ability to pay another $20 so you can play an "enhanced for PS5" version of the game you bought in the past two years.

My Insider guy says it isn't as simple as that.

Apparently, you have to hack into the Matrix and rescue zion in order to get 3000 number code that you must decipher before travelling to the Moon and inputting it in MS's new data centre.

Expect offical confirmation of this process sometime before the second coming of Jesus.

Could you imagine if MS tried to make a very short Halo expansion and package it with Halo 5 optimized for next gen and sell it as a bundle? And throw in on top of it that you can't bring your old game saves over?

Is arrogant Sony back?

No. They know how far they can push and get away with. While they do this, everyone will be too busy bashing MS for doing whatever it is they are doing that is completely awful. If hardly anyone pushes back on them, why change?

I don't think so. I dont remember much crying over the Last of US remaster, ahd even if there was, it still sold a craptonne. I think Sony was just going with that.
The Demon Souls remaster will also sell gangbusters.

We don't know yet if that's the actual price, but if you buy that you spent 220 and have 2TB to play next gen games on. How much would it cost you to have 2TB on PS5? Not sure since I don't think you can get a 7GB/s SSD now and that's what they said you need, but a 2TB at 5GB/s will set you back about 400. https://www.newegg.com/sabrent-rocket-nvme-4-0-2tb/p/0D9-001Y-00014?&quicklink=true

I think remaster is okay. I think selling for full price is also okay if you are a new player & game is not discount price yet.

But the way video game price is weird. You can have games that are in bargain bin, then you can resell on another platform that required low effort for full price.

Consumers has to be blame. If you just snap up “remastered “ at full price , lazy devs will keep putting out remasters
