Not to me. Elder Scrolls was the only new acquisition that I cared about in the deal this week.

That's probably a 2023 game so as annoying as this deal is honestly it's not going to impact a lot of people at all for a few years, hell based on Fallout 4 which wasn't all that good and their terrible fallout online game who knows if Starfield is going to be good either? I hope it is, not rooting for people to work hard on a bad project but it's not like Bethesda has been knocking it out of the park, Skyrim was their last really great release IMO, I'm not talking the other studios btw just the one working on the big RPGs.

The Xbox One X is STILL for sale and not as a refurbished unit at the price of $447, $599.99, $428.89, and $549.95 when you type the Series X in . I just got done looking at the list myself. The names can be very confusing if you don't know what you are looking for, which is most of the time the case with non and casual gamers. If it can sometimes get confusing just saying the two, then it would definitely be confusing purchasing the two - especially when it's already forward compatible and advertised as such.

It’s not confusing

I've never played a majority of their games. I've only played ES III - V. None of their other games have ever been appealing to me at all.

Fallout 4 was a bore IMO, it's funny I love the Elder Scrolls games but it's not like they do any one thing particularly well. The gameplay is average at best, the 3rd person view is pretty much unplayable during combat, the animations suck, the graphics are average at best with some things looking laughably bad but they manage to do something when it comes to the overall presentation, it could just be the world as a whole along with the music and some of the writing for the NPC's that really give it it's charm. Truth be told I liked Oblivion more than Skyrim but I do love both of those games, fallout sucks donkey balls though lol.

To YOU it's not because you are not a casual or non gamer. There is a difference, and I tried to to you that.

The quoted material from Twitter is %100 factual wrong. It’s the same info everyone you tuber and website a d now you are using to make this statement.

Since you no longer can use said material you no longer have an argument.

That picture sums up the storm coming for Christmas 2020.

Naming is a bit confusing I agree, though this has been debunked already. The 700% climb in ranking is due to searches on Amazon and not actual sales. Before the Series X went live, event search for Xbox Series X was landing you on Xbox One X.

Yes it is to casuals and I called it.

I will say this again. The information used in that Twitter post is 100 percent wrong. That’s the same information that everyone is using. So now that we don’t have that false information to use you can no longer say you called it.

So... with Doom, Fallout, Elder Scrolls, Prey, Wolfenstein, Dishonered, Starfield, Halo, Gears, Forza e.t.c... would MS console be considered a better console exclusive platform than Sonys?

Nope. Nothing that really interests me there.

But if something changes, I'll check it out on PC.

Insert coin for updated graphics.

If they're doing this it's a s*** move. If MS or Nintendo did it, it would be a s*** move. It's one thing when they sell remasters and remakes at the start of a generation when there's no other way to play it, since they can't do backwards compatibility worth a damn, but if the game is backward compatible and they're updating it for next gen, charging existing owners for that upgrade is weak. Hopefully this story is fake, because nobody deserves this crap and you shouldn't have to defend a company for doing it.

Supporting devs hard work is an issue? 🙄

"The remaster for the Ps5 is no simple up res, as many of the games assets have been completely updated to take advantage of the Ps5 console's horse power. You'll see better looking characters with improved skin, eyes hair and facial animation (including a next generation Peter Parker). You'll also see ray-traced reflections and ambient shadows, improved lightimg, more pedestrians, and vehicles stretching further into the distance and the same optional preformance mode offered in Marvel's Spider-Man Miles Morales, allowing you to finally play the game at targeted 60fps. We'll be supporting near instant loading, 3D audio, and the Dual Sense Controller haptic feedback. Lastly we're adding 3 amazing new suits, new photo mode features and even new trophies for those of you looking to Platinum the game all over again.."

More search usually means more sales. It would be nice to see the sales number, but I believed you cannot see directly at the website, so search is the next best.

When I was a kid, and wanted something specific, I made sure my parents knew what it was. If there was something similar, I would say "not this, that thing" to make sure they didn't mess it up. I know you are being facetious, but I actually do expect people to engage their brains, and if they don't.. well, it's not like a kidney transplant or something. Better to learn that life lesson on some first world problem.

I was the same way, sadly sometimes they still made a mistake lol but I can't fault my Mom she had to raise 5 kids, she had to buy for my 3 older sisters and me and my twin brother as well as working full time so if she got the wrong Han Solo action figure once or twice so be it, they shouldn't have made 4 different once at the same time anyway lol.

It depends on what you like, honestly Bethesda has a lot of games that are kind of already like the stuff MS makes, sci fi shooters were already covered by Halo and Gears, they already had a fantasy RPG with Fable even though it was ignored for far too long. The last few games from Bethesda have underperformed sales wise and that's when they had a much larger pool of potential customers, I wonder what MS expectations are for GP with this addition? They paid a lot so I don't see them selling things off or shutting them down very quickly but I do wonder how they'll measure success?

Now is a better time to be a multi platform gamer then ever before, for me I couldn't fathom missing out on the next fallout and elder scrolls, granted they are very far away, it just feels weird they will probably end up been exclusive.
