I'm probably the only person who mainly disliked Fallout 3. The post-apocalyptic landscape gave the level designers and artists no option but to have one kind of environment, the characters were primarily all douchebags, the super-mutants were overused, the Brotherhood of Steel was basically a ported-over Imperial Legion of Elder Scroll's fame, the ending was horrifically written, even moreso than the main story and last but not least, only one decision you make in the entirety of the game has even the most remote bearing on the game's anticlimactic ending.
That said, I'm a huge fan of Bethesda so I'm not completely turned off of Fallout 4.
