Fallout 4?

I'm probably the only person who mainly disliked Fallout 3. The post-apocalyptic landscape gave the level designers and artists no option but to have one kind of environment, the characters were primarily all douchebags, the super-mutants were overused, the Brotherhood of Steel was basically a ported-over Imperial Legion of Elder Scroll's fame, the ending was horrifically written, even moreso than the main story and last but not least, only one decision you make in the entirety of the game has even the most remote bearing on the game's anticlimactic ending.

That said, I'm a huge fan of Bethesda so I'm not completely turned off of Fallout 4.

I'm sure they always do. The problem is when the game is so big, they can't possibly catch every single bug before the game releases. Elder Scroll games have had this issue, too. I think in the case of New Vegas, it had more to do with it being Obsidian's game. But the glitch issue was so bad in that case that Bethesda had to come in and help clean it up after it released with a bunch of game-breaking bugs.

A little tidbit from the source of this info:

"you would need a rot-N decoder set to N setting of 13."
 
I read something on Reddit about this being a countdown for a Fallout 4. I don't know if there is validity to the rumor.
 
Word on the street is this is Fallout 4 related. Please let it be so!
 
That's what I thought when I heard "rot-N decoder." For some reason, that made me think of Fallout. And if it's ZeniMax, that's further indication. There have been a number of teases/hints about Fallout 4 lately, so it would fit.
 
This was posted over at MMO-CHAMPION in their thread about the 2299 site. The poster claims it came from a youtube channel that was linked to the 2299 site, so take it with a grain of salt.

Well, that's pretty close to definitive, isn't it. And we have something to look forward to in 6 days.

I recognize rot-N as something completely independent from Fallout, but based on the current page, I'd think it's highly likely to be Fallout related. :)
 
thought that site was for fallout 4? at least that's the consensus.

Will it be the Fallout 4 announcement we're all hoping for, or something else? Ten days ago we caught wind of the teaser site, which is owned by Bethesda parent company Zenimax. It's got to be Fallout 4, surely... Thoughts?
