I'd love it if this happens. I only played an hour or so on PS3. I want this and Dark Souls 2 to make the jump. Would be awesome.

Maybe they'll give it the Tomb Raider treatment. New faces for Joel and Ellie, plus next-gen hair.

Game of the summer for me if its 1080p/60fps but yikes @ the price!

I want it, but just like I waited for the PS4 version, I'll also wait for it to be cheaper on PS4.

I rented TLoU, and loved the graphics/story, but didn't care much for the combat tbh.
Think I got to the underground level, with the blind things, and quit/returned game after dying a lot.
Maybe I was hoping the combat stuff would take a backseat to characters and story, like Telltale's The Walking Dead game.
(Which btw is also apparently coming to nextgen consoles as well - GotY version and Season 2, woo!)

Anyway, glad to see it's coming to PS4. This is one game I'm willing to give another try.
Maybe paying $60 for it will force me to see the light. ;)

Walking Dead coming to Next-gen? Woooo!

...like Telltale's The Walking Dead game.

That's good news. I doubt they'll be sprucing up the graphics, but maybe at least it won't have the chunky slowdown. Guess I'll wait to play Season 2 on next gen. I'm waiting for all the episodes to be released anyhow.

Moved the TLoU discussion about the ending to a separate thread, to avoid spoiling the game for those of us who haven't played it yet.

My exact experience. Looking forward to giving it another shot on the PS4.

I'm sure we'll see it at E3.

I'm hoping for improved visuals. But even if it's just up rez'ed to 1080P, I'll probably still double dip.

I'll be getting it for the PS4. Last time I played it, I borrowed from a friend. But this is a game worth buying.

Uncharted 4’ developer hints at new ‘The Last of Us’ DLC mode and trophy

A new single-player DLC will be added to “The Last of Us.” According to a report from Gamepur on April 3, Bruce Straley stated that he recently got to try a new mode for the campaign of the survival-horror action-adventure title.

The game director, who is rumored to be working on the tentatively-titled “Uncharted 4,” said that “got owned” while mentioning that the experience “was awesome” at the same time. You can find some screens from “The Last of Us” on the PS3 with the slideshow located to the left of this article and the comments below:

Played some of #TheLastOfUs's new SP mode today & got owned... and it was awesome!

Bruce Straley subsequently clarified that the new mode is actually another difficulty setting, adding that players who enjoyed the survival mode will also liked the upcoming DLC, which also comes with a new trophy (although it won’t have an effect on how the platinum trophy can be obtained).

Along with providing post-launch support for the PS3 version of “The Last of Us,” Bruce Straley previously hinted that he and the rest of his team are deciding between developing a sequel and working on a completely new franchise. However, a recent report suggested that he may have taking over the directorial duties along with Neil Druckmann after the departures of the previous directors involved in the next “Uncharted” project.

“The Last of Us” was released in 2013 for the PS3 while the PS4-exclsuvie “Uncharted 4” currently has no launch window.

Nice. That's about as confirmed as you're gonna get.

I'm glad to see the "Remastered" line. It puts to rest the idea that they are just doing a raw PS3 port (which didn't make much sense, but some people were saying that). The game was already a very good looking one, so I'm interested to hear about the improvements.

I think the subtleties will be emphasized, as ironic as that sounds. I don't expect character reworkings like Tomb Raider received. I think some of the lighting will be tweaked to get it running like inFAMOUS. The gritty and rough look works for the game. They don't need to go crazy with an updated color palette.

$60 is a little expensive, though. I think they need one more single player DLC to sweeten it. Maybe an adventure with Joel and Tess. I'll have to think about double dipping because it's likely going to release when Watch Dogs and The Show drop. It's one of my favorite PS3 games and I am itching to try Left Behind.

I can understand that feeling, if you've already played the game once. For newcomers like me, though, $60 is a very reasonable price. The PS3 game (which is still retailing at $60) is only a year old and got huge critical acclaim. You're getting a remastered version of that game, plus $15 of DLC free. Seems like a pretty good deal to me. But if you are a "double dipper," I can see why you'd balk at $60.

I should have mentioned that it's a great price for people who haven't experienced the title yet. I guess I shouldn't be surprised, considering Tomb Raider was $60, too.

This is one of those games where the story and tension of enemy encounters are awesome the first time. But when I tried to replay it I just didn’t have as much fun with it and didn’t get very far. It certainly was worth the price the first time but I’ll wait for a price drop if I double-dip at all for the PS4 version.
