There are guys on twitter who keep track of all of the restocks for PS5 and the series X and let you know when they are happening, they had given almost a week notice about this restock.Right place right time. Like when I got my XSX.
Yeah I'm following that Matt guy. trying to bag a PS5.There are guys on twitter who keep track of all of the restocks for PS5 and the series X and let you know when they are happening, they had given almost a week notice about this restock.

There is no good or evil here you are 100% correct, that being said MS has gotten away with a lot of s*** namely only releasing 3 AAA games in 4 years two of which were racing games. Their fans should be pushing them like crazy not just sitting back and defending it, I know in time they'll start to release more games because they went out and bought some studios but if I were an xbox only gamer I'd be pissed. I was a hardcore xbox guy for a long time but the way they run things is what pushed me away.Companies are neither good nor evil. They're machines. The operators of these machines change over time. As do the roads they drive on. They all have 1 single goal. Make as much profit as possible. They will try to do that by whatever means possible. Only limitations are the law and what the marketplace allows them to get away with. Fortunately as a primarily Xbox customer, the executives in charge realize they can't get away with s*** with the gaming customers right now.
This entire good vs evil narrative shows how wrapped up you are in this fantasy war Val.
History of what? Blockbuster Video? Toys R Us? Kmart? DVD Sales? Traditional Phone companies? Or how about the other side? Amazon? Netflix? Uber? s*** changes when tech changes. I'm not saying Sony is in any sort of peril. Technology evolution is widening the market. Pointing to history does nothing to refute that.History
Microsoft responded....with 17 studios, additional massive 2nd party projects and counting. If you're going to hold down the fort that they spent 7.5 billion on AA fodder....to me that sounds like an irrational disposition and there's probably no bringing you back from wherever you are. Not really trying to sell you. I like talking about the paradigm shift in gaming for developers and consumers and I'm pretty excited about the future of Game Pass. That's what brings me here occasionally. There is no good or evil here you are 100% correct, that being said MS has gotten away with a lot of s*** namely only releasing 3 AAA games in 4 years two of which were racing games. I like Xbox without GP.Microsoft responded....with 17 studios, additional massive 2nd party projects and counting. Game Pass is the platform. For people caught up in traditional exclusives, there hasn't been one since 2016. Again, you'll be able to access every Xbox game whenever you want with a Playstation controller for a monthly fee and can dip in and out whenever you'd like. You don't need a Xbox console. The head of Microsoft is fine with that. Customers should do what's best for them. The people uninspired by the lack of traditional Xbox exclusives is much smaller than system wars enthusiasts thinks it is. The console market has peaked and consumers will engage in the content they like on all types of devices in the future. This console counting war is over. It's just a means to an end. Investors only care about the end. Consumers should go where they feel they're getting their money's worth.
Those are all not great, but the one that I find scummy more than that was them selling consoles that had Linux as a selling point and then removing they feature that they paid for. Stopping selling consoles with BC because that was expensive for them is one thing, but if you've paid for a feature and then it's taken away because a small number of other asswads abuse the system is s***.Fascinating.
I remember a $600 PS3.
Blocking cross platform play.
And paying to keep exclusives off other platforms.
I guess I just have a vivid memory of both platform holders pulling s***. Don't care how often....they both have done and both are capable of doing it often or not as often.
Interesting to know that Sony can do no wrong in your eyes.
Well, it's not like EA has ever done anything s***ty so I guess it's cool?EA Access is a great deal which reminds me.... I gotta get a sub for next gen.
XSX will be more handicapped as its not so exclusive exclusives have to be made for dated tech like PC,xss and xbo.
PS5 will actually have exclusives and with its industry leading tech plus legendary devs... we will be blown away.
Returnal will likely be the best looking game followed by R & C.
See I get this, but the issue is when you pass opinion off like you speak for everyone. Not saying you are doing it but hear me out. You say they released 3 AAA games in 4 years. Obviously those games didn't do anything for YOU. However, for Xbox fans in total? Alot of them might have been content with that while playing other multiplatform games on their system.
It's not marketed as a replacement and it's not exactly the same thing. Those are all not great, but the one that I find scummy more than that was them selling consoles that had Linux as a selling point and then removing they feature that they paid for. But you've got to give him credit for consistency; he's strongly against subscription services for video games no matter who is doing ... oh, wait

The issue to me isn't that those games aren't for me it's that it's just not enough period, even if you love racing games and Gears are you really happy with only 3 new AAA games to experience in 4 years? by the time Halo comes out it'll be well over 4 years, that's simply not enough output. I can understand one lean year but this is just sad. I wasn't saying that racing games are bad btw just that when you only have 3 games come out in that length of time some variety would be nice as well, two in the same category even if they are a little different isn't a great look.See I get this, but the issue is when you pass opinion off like you speak for everyone. What works for Sony with releasing exclusive blockbusters might not work the same for Microsoft. Admittedly their goals are different end games. Now I'm not going to try and convince you which company has the 'winning' strategy because that is incredibly arrogant. If the winning strategy is to sell the most consoles...then Sony wins hands down. If the winning strategy is eventually whatever Microsoft is doing well....they win with that.
Now we are bringing another popular living room brand to compare with Xbox/Gamepass?
I will repeat GP needs to be on the most popular gaming platform to succeed and most don't know what it is like they do Netflix and Disney +(known by all and work with everything)
Console gamers don't care about PC, and most people don't have gaming rigs. So I would say the best scenario would be Xbox and Switch. And then just use PS Now on the PC that most people have at home to play the few exclusives that PS has. I think they plan on bumping up the PS Now to 1080p soon from 720p.You also have access to every Xbox game with a PC so seems like PC/PS the way to go and I've been pretty satisfied with this combo since last gen and add the Switch if you want to play Nintendo exclusives.
Get back to me when Xbox Series X puts out more overall better looking exclusives(well Xbox doesn't actually have exclusives)than PS5.

But yet 3rd party games sell better and have more players online on consolesThere are 1.8 billion gamers in the world, and PC gaming dominates the market
PC gamers make up the largest percentage of the video game market, with console and mobile gamers trailing behind.mygaming.co.za
Mobile has more than console online. But yet 3rd party games sell better and have more players online on consoles
Well, although Sony has done much better on that front over the past several years (probably the entire X1 v. PS4 era, if we're honest, and the tail end of the 360 days), we also need to keep in mind that their fans also get to tout that they can pay again to replay a graphically souped up version of a game from 15 years ago (Demon's Souls), a remake of a 20+ year old game (FF7), an expansion to an existing game (Spiderman), etc. On the MS side, we get a lot of improved BC titles but I guess since you don't have to buy them again they're nothing? *shrug* I think your last sentences are the absolute best, though - though I'd go further and say that there's not one winning strategy if you're not playing the same game. Sony is probably going to have the most consoles sold again, and Gamepass will probably dwarf PSNow or whatever else they come up with on that front. I don't see the whole point in pissing matches over console sales or sub numbers, since those by themselves mean nothing - if MS wants to win the first, they just sell the XSX for $99, or Sony can sell a year of PSNow for $9 and include PS5 games in it. As long as the companies are making good money and hopefully making good games, if they want to attack different segments of the market, like Nintendo has, more power to them. What works for Sony with releasing exclusive blockbusters might not work the same for Microsoft. I do have to point out that Ori obviously isn't AAA even though its the best game on the listThe problem is, he lies. And he lies hoping people take what he says as gospel and will believe it.
In 4 years, MS has released more than just 3 AAA games. I could be like him and say in 10 years Sony released 1 AAA game. I could say it 5000 times and that won't make it true. Just like him lying about MS and Xbox.
AAA games released in the past 4 years off the top of my head
- Sea of Thieves
- Gears 5
- Forza Horizon 4
- Forza Motorsport 7
- Halo Wars 2
- The Medium
- Ori and the Will of the Wisps
- State of Decay 2
- Crackdown 3
- Flight Simulator 2020
Opinion noted.I do have to point out that Ori obviously isn't AAA
Wait, wait.....this is some real bizarro thinking. You like Xbox without GP? So, you don't like saving money by having access to lots of titles. GP Ultimate is about $120 for a year and that's only if you don't take advantage of all the sales. So, for the price of two games ( except PS5 games, those are more expensive) you get access to hundreds of titles. If you like a game on GP you can purchase it at a 20% discount, dlc at 10% discount.I like Xbox without GP.
I am apart of the biggest part of Xbox's ecosystem, the non GP subscribers... When are they going to acknowledge us?
I am tired of only hearing about the minority.. what about the majority?
WE are the foundation!
Remember when so many people here argued over what AAA meant that it got censored? Good times.Opinion noted.
