Somebody hasn't benn gettin enough views this E3.

Xbox has the best the best looking next gen game in Flight Simulator. Xbox also has the best racer. I'm sure arcade racing fan are hyped. Not sure how these 2 magiccally have no Wow factor.

No surprise from Tom Orry. He loves licking the blue taint of Jim Ryan and Co.
Where is the math for $70 Xbox games?

Microsoft is charging $60 for first party Xbox games, which are day one on Game Pass.

I think they are talking about the wow moments like announcements or game play. Imagine if Bethesda hadn't announced Starfield so early and it was announced to close the show? I think they probably just needed a better closing moment for the "wow factor" but other than that it would have been hard for them to put together a better show.

They are just talking utter BS. Even with what you think they mean it still is BS.

Interesting take by the writer.

I liked Flight Simulator and FH5 from yesterday's show that's coming out this year.

Flight sim looks like the first next gen looking game for the Xbox and a chill relaxing game for a palate rinse between games and FH5 just looks like more of the same fun for fans of the genre.

I never got into Horizon though it looks good and Flight sim I'm not sure if I'm getting yet on the PC, I never really played that type of game either. But I'm happy Xbox fans finally get something to look forward to.

I agree with Paul.

Gamepass Ultimate at 12.99€/month which is the price here. PS5 70€pirce is a solid 10€ premium over other platform, & 2,2 PS5 games would cover price of gameplay Ultimate for a year.

The main hurdle is quantity of quality games. XBOX need to produce highly rated AAA/AA gams for people to want to get gamepass. Many gamers would rather pay premium for a few good games, than cheap for alot of average games.

After a quick glance at current offerimg, I can see ,myself having at last a handful of game to play whats available currently alraedy, like medium, Forza Horizon 4, Woffenstein, Doom Elternal, Gears 5 dlc on top of my head, with halo Infinite & FH5 coming this year.

If you want to have the opinion that "Sony's stuff is still better" you might want to actually maybe mention at least one example.

I like their lineup, which is why I own a PS5, but I'm also wondering what is so great coming this year? I guess I'm expecting Horizon to get bumped to 2022, but supposedly that's still on track. I just figure every AAA game is going to get one major delay at this point. It is just the safe bet. If they prove me wrong, good on them.

I don't really care about anything 2022 and beyond. I mean I will, but I care about games I can buy soon. MS just crushed it for the rest of this year on Game Pass.

Are you referring to that article? Because that article is talking about presentations more than the games are better.

I do like though how 2 days after Sony releases a big game and now its "yeah but what is coming". I will send the memo to Hedon informing him only games released in November count.

gamepass is good offer. I am tempted to get, nut I would be playing much games now with the Euro 2020 going on, so I am holding out.

Problem is there really isn't much you can directly compare. I mean XGS doesn't have a game like God of War, or Demon Souls, Last of Us or even a Horizon. Same as Sony Studios don't have a game like Halo, or Forza Horizon, or Sea of Theives, or even a Gears of War.

The only real overlap is Gran Turismo and Forza Motorsport.

You mean E3 that Sony didn't show up for? That's the comical double standard.

Games coming this year are simply more relevant. I don't care about Starfield right now because we know nothing about it. It could be great, it could be delayed and/or it could be another Fallout 76. Arguing about limited info is pointless. These games will all be shown at E3 2022. Next year they will matter a lot more.

Games I will be playing this year > games I may be playing next year. That's not moving goalposts, but a simple fact that applies to any game. I simply can't get excited about anything that likely will be fall 2022 right now, and that includes Xbox. Personally, I wouldn't have shown so little on games that are so far out, but others seem to like it more.

Flight Simulator will probably be the best looking game on console when it comes out on XSX IMHO. I want to see the DF breakdown on that one.

Specifically how it looks and runs on the OG Xbox One.

The game is STILL the best looking game/sim I've ever played on my PC.

I don't see why its a double standard. Maybe it is if Sony never did one but why does Sony have to attach their show to E3 for it to count?

Well it is moving goal posts because its almost as if they would be better off releasing R&C in November as opposed to a couple days ago.

It isn't coming to OG X1. XSX/S & PC only.

But yeah, it will be the best looking.

Outside of Horizon, what has Sony shown that is impressive that might even launch this year (again I'm waiting for the delay on Horizon)? Seriously? If I'm missing something, let me know. Rachet and Clank? Fun games, but not exactly the game to show off the visuals on next gen.

Sony crushed it for the 2nd half of PS4 (some legit amazing games in there, I'm playing through Ghost of Tsushima now and it may be one of my top games ever), but everyone just assumes that hits will keep coming at that interval, but will they? They don't even have to lay it out and everyone just assumes it will be there. Will it? List out some of these games? If someone wants to say "Sony will crush it in 2022" that's fine, but that's not what is being argued.

You mean what else compared to what's already released this year?

From the 11 recommended PS exclusives that make the PS5 worth buying listed here:

8 have already released within the first 8 months of launch. No need to wait unlike the Xbox.

FF7 remake intergrade for the PS5 just released this month too with Yuffie DLC.

The only one that hasn't been released yet this year is HFW from the list. We have a target of Holiday 2021 time. There's also Kena that's not listed there that is coming out in August, which is looking to be another nice little gem.

Don't forget Sony hasn't had its own show yet which usually happens around summer time that could give us more info on what to expect for the rest of this year and the next. Then there's PlayStation Experience event near the end of year.

I find it funny the question is what's coming out next when Sony has released a steady bunch since launch already 🤣

Either Flight Simulator or Forza Horizon 5.

Fanboy or not, he does have a point. Unless you are a racing fan, nothing XBOX event has shown that are exclusive are mindblowing. Not even close.
Unless you think your opinion is better than others I guess. Many thought otherwise, including me.

PS5 continues to show me LESS and LESS that they have nothing to offer that appeals to me. They have ZERO mind blowing games coming up IMO.

Great, what AAA game should we expect to be announced this summer that we haven't already seen? If Horizon gets delayed, that list gets even thinner. If they do release this fall and prove me wrong, good on them. I'll give them credit rather than saying what does or doesn't count.

Wow. For some reason I thought they announced it for the Xbox One. Thanks for the correction.

"Only the Xbox Series X and S versions were confirmed, despite a (now deleted) post on the official support website earlier in the year stating it was "coming to Xbox One at a later date", and that lead software engineer Martial Bossard originally explaining to Windows Central how development on the Xbox One version would benefit PC development."

From Eurogamer as of yesterday.

But Ratchet is universally considered to be an amazing looking game so yeah it does show off the visuals of next gen. I also don't really see a meaningful difference between Horizon coming out in November as opposed to February. Same thing could happen to the Halo campaign but its splitting hairs at this point.

You definitely can't really pencil down what is coming for them until they have their next big show I am just saying talking about the next few months and only the next few months kind of conveniently ignores that they have started the gen pretty strong.
