Flight Simulator is out on Xbox exclusively next month and it has been praised as an amazing looking next gen game. Not sure of the point here. Sony started out strong with some great AAA games, and it's starting to quiet down. MS started out DEAD with some great AAA games, and now it's about to burst.

Sony is having more shows this year, which is great. MS is having more shows this year, which is also great. More games, more announcements, more GAMES GAMES GAMES.

Where is the issue.

That's right. Xbox has no games.

Great, what AAA game should we expect to be announced this summer that we haven't already seen? If Horizon gets delayed, that list gets even thinner. If they do release this fall and prove me wrong, good on them. I'll give them credit rather than saying what does or doesn't count.

This is what we know so far.

You definitely can't really pencil down what is coming for them until they have their next big show I am just saying talking about the next few months and only the next few months kind of conveniently ignores that they have started the gen pretty strong.

Why not? Are you expecting anything big we don't already know about?

You keep getting upset that the time frame I'm looking at is arbitrary, but the near future isn't exactly arbitrary. It wouldn't be a big deal for Horizon to launch in February actually.

Sony launched stronger, no doubt, but MS looks to at least catch up this fall, and that's the fact that people really struggle with. Unlike others, I can admit when MS falls short. People can't even accept that MS might actually do well. Meanwhile people keep telling me that flight and racing sims don't count...

Not a fan of MS simulator, but damn, the game looks amazing. The best graphics on console/PC. Me likey.

Dang! It is seriously the most jaw dropping and relaxing Sims I've played.

Also highly technical as Sims go.

I need more people to play with on Steam. No one knows how to land properly on PC lol.

Why not? Are you expecting anything big we don't already know about?

Not this year but next year I'm sure there is stuff we don't know about.

You keep getting upset that the time frame I'm looking at is arbitrary, but the near future isn't exactly arbitrary.

Only because its put on top of certain games not counting or games that are out don't count and it is kind of arbitrary because I doubt you would be overly bothered if Halo was announced to be release in January or February. Game releases going forward shouldn't really be much of a problem and "where are your games" is not something that should really have that much life in it at this point from anyone.

Sony launched stronger, no doubt, but MS looks to at least catch up this fall, and that's the fact that people really struggle with. Unlike others, I can admit when MS falls short. People can't even accept that MS might actually do well. Meanwhile people keep telling me that flight and racing sims don't count...

I am not really seeing any discussion here or anywhere about those games not counting.

The important thing is games do count period. Its about awhile since they did.

The issue is Xbox fans ignoring what's already released on the PS side and what will continue to be a steady stream output mix of first party exclusives and partnership exclusives with other studios in the coming years.

When Xbox fans count them, why not for the PS side? 🤷‍♂️

Sony fans have the EXACT same issue with the Xbox side.

Well then holy s***. The entire show yesterday was Xbox exclusive then.

I don't get what you guys are arguing about/over.

Kerosene only cares about the present/near future. Nothing wrong wit that.
Playstation shot its load early and seems a bit empty for the next 6 to 12 months Which seems like a fact as of today.
Xbox is finally getting off its ass and putting out some nice stuff. Seems about right.

So where is the argument here.

If no arguments, then this thread would be dead.

If the only way to keep it alive is arguments like this, then best to let it die.
Agreed. But morbid curiosity keeps me coming back. Plus it does prevent this s*** from spilling over into our other threads. For the most part.

Who is having issues with this on the PS side?

Well yeah, it is an Xbox show at a major gaming event, lol. Of course they would show off all their guns.

Don't think there's an argument anywhere.

Xbox fans just seem hyped off of the show yesterday which I can understand since they have really had nothing since launch so they're here to strut their stuff.

What they like to ignore is Sony's been doing it since launch day and have been consistently outputting releases at a steady pace whereas Xbox's real stuff is just starting with Flight Sim next month in July, a game PC had access to since almost a year ago in August 2020 (are there any new visual features different from the PC version? I know there's new DLC content coming out later in the year).

We will see what Sony has in store for holiday 2021 period and next year releases as we get closer to their shows and events.

Nope, nope and more nope. There's simply no point discussing anything that is going to be beyond next year's e3 now. There's too little info. Should we argue Starfield vs GoW? No, that would be silly. Those games don't matter NOW.

I said flat out that it wouldn't matter if Horizon lands in February. You choose to only see what you want to see. You see me as a fanboy with no objectivity, but maybe you should question why you project that on others?

You see what you want to see and ignore what you don't. You say games matter, but you can't accept my opinion that MS has been really strong vs others. Why is that?

Forza Horizon 5 has no loading screens on Series X/S thanks to XVA and the SSD.

Kinda like PS3 having access to Demon's Souls 12 years ago.
