36 hours in and I still haven't finished the campaign. Got the achievement for getting all the challenge tombs completed one one play through though. I think I am about finished with the campaign. About 2 hours left I imagine. I have 71% of the game complete (that is towards full completion including finding all relics, etc.).
This is the best game I have played since Alan Wake. I don't want the game to end

I was sad when that achievement popped because I knew the game was almost over. I finished it at about 95%, the exploration was really fun especially when you run into a bear.
I'm patiently waiting for campaign dlc.
Some are the only way to get costumes. I finally got the tank top costume after I already beat it, lol.
Before finishing the game, I am going back to get 100% on each map. Now the question is, can I finish the game and go back and get the stuff? As in, is everything as is, left open, or do I need to go through everything map or chapter and play through cutscenes and stuff?
It basically goes into open world mode. There is actually some transition character interaction thats pretty nice.
Thanks G money. Well, I will finish the game then. I am itching to see the end, but want to get the rest of the stuff. I am so excited! Just sad that I will be waiting a couple years until the next one

Great, great game and my GOTY. Nice to see all of those nominations. I also didn't want it to end and can't wait for some *hopefully* meaty campaign DLC. I haven't even tried endurance mode yet...is it worth diving into?
Yeah, it goes into open world mode but some of the areas have changed since played through the first time. Areas that you got to one way you have to get to another way (due to what happens during the campaign). I missed a few things in the Syria level and going back couldn't get to a point to shoot something for one of the challenges....there may be a way but haven't found it. Some of the collectible walkthroughs talk about the differences in getting some places AFTER finishing the game.

Just beat it last night, and loved it from start to finish! I ended at 80% complete, and played about 30 hrs. Not sure I'll spend much time scrounging for collectibles, but we'll see. I'm definitely interested in the campaign DLC, which comes out this month, right?
Finished the "campaign" last night (I am about 85% complete with everything). Game is indeed GOTY for 2015 and I just can't get enough of it. However, I have to say:

I didn't like the final boss/fights personally. Just felt forced, and I would have preferred maybe more of a tough puzzle ending with boss. The helicopter and the QTE with final guy was not that great IMO

I agree with you about the ending.
This is included in my 3 way tie for my GOTY, with Witcher 3 and Fallout 4. I loved them all for different reasons, and wished they all could have gone on much longer. Then again, we have dlc incoming for all of them in the near future!
Family Video has this game for $29. They also have Mad Max and Uncharted collection for $29 a piece as well. I'm thinking of splurging tomorrow.
$29 for UC would appeal to me if it was digital on PSN for that price. I will be getting that collection once the price drops. I want all four on my PS4.
I am at 95% now! I am getting so close. I think I will need to go back and pick a chapter or go through endurance mode to get the few remaining items because some areas you just can't get back to.
BTW, anyone who is attempting the gourd challenge, if you go through all the gourds on just one bucket (instead of one in all 5 buckets)...because you suck like me and miss, you will run out of gourds. To get the gourds to respawn, I had to go to the nearby campfire, fast travel and then fast travel right back, and the gourds were back for use.
Yeah, the last few areas and the final boss really brought the game down for me. It went from being my GOTY to my 3rd favorite for those reasons alone.
I really think i'm going to jump in and get Rise of the Tomb Raider next month. I was thinking about just waiting for it on the PS4 but waiting for greatness is like waiting for a toothache to go away. Not fun.
got the story DLC, man forgot how gorgeous this game is, on a new OLED TV now too.
