Please post back your impressions. I watched a 15 minute clip the other day, and it looks like it is just new missions in the existing maps? Or is there new areas opened in the existing maps?
Encountered a bug yesterday that others have. When you have to control the first trebuchet there's an invisible fire arrow guy. Had to kill myself three times to get him to appear. He doesn't even appear at the top. He's below hanging out. It was so frustrating.
Played it, beat it in about three hours. Its basically a new mission on the same map, but don't let that stop you. Its pretty fun. Interesting twist from the rest of the world as you're dealing with supernatural elements and what have you.
I think the $10 I paid was a little steep for the content you get, but its not a big deal. Still gorgeous as hell too...

You still got to purchase the PC version but this is huge as it proves that Universal Apps can do triple A games. This is huge and a step closer to write once and play on any W10 platform for triple A games.

Since there is no PC or Multiplat thread for Tomb Raider, I post my impression here.
It looks amazing, but that you guys already know, but its good they add a lot of enhancement to the skills & upgrades, & there are more ways to take enemies down now. The shooting part of TR will shame many dedicated shooters even.
I am not far into the game, & only done to one optional tomb, & this time the reward is more meaningful.
Now I am at the first big Hub, Soviet installation or something, & enjoying the exploration. I hope there is less linearity as the game progress. I can understand why its so linear at the beginning though, to get players familiar to the mechanics.
Not personally a fan of the saving system, which is brought froward by the last games (I prefer games where you reloaded where you last save like fallout or Witcher) but its not that terrible. It probably be too easy to save before any encounter, & the checkpoints are pretty generous anyway.

The game is fairly linear but I still got lost a lot in my rental time with the game. Lol
The beginning is more linear, but the game indeed has a more open world feel to it compared to the last one. It's not Fallout/FarCry open of course. There are 43 fast travels that I unlocked, which makes it easier to get 100% completion. Otherwise it takes forever to get around.
Now that the game is multi-platform, I'm moving this thread to the multi-platform discussion.
I just got this for PC. It came with a replacement video card I just bought (and it was the Steam version too!). It's always nice getting free games. 
I got a gtx 970 to replace my old gtx 680 which has about had it. I had to downclock it just to make it even partially stable when playing a game, and there are still tons of crashes not to mention screen artifacts. I didn't want to pay too much for a replacement since I know that nvidia is releasing new cards in a few months. My new card should be in tomorrow.
Anyway, I have no idea what to expect. I have not been following this game at all. I did not play the last game either, or any Tomb Raider game for that matter, lol. I've watched some of them being played, but for some reason I just never got one. I did enjoy Uncharted 1-3 on ps3, so if this game is like that, I should enjoy it. I don't want to get distracted from playing fallout 4, but I do want to check this out.

Its hard to say if you will like the game, but I do not see why not, but I will be surprise if you are not impressed by the visual fidelity & animation.I just got this for PC. How do you gt past door that required explosive.
Not everyone has some red barrels nearby. I found a cave in soviet installation that required explosive but I have nothing to exploded the door.

It's about to get real. The thread was moved to the multiplat section why exactly? It came out on PS4 early? Oh.. it came out on PC, that's right.
Such an amazing game.
The one and only gripe I have is that the more I play this, the best version of ROTTR, is that I really, realllllllly want a Soul Reaver reboot.
