Am I the only one that notice that everyone in the game tower over Lara? Its as if they used a different scale for their models, & when they meet together, the developmers just ignored it. That or everyone else in the game are giants. Lara is not a short girl, I say between 5'4 to 5'6, which is fairly average by most European standards. Everyone lease seems to be basketball player height 6'6 or above.

Also, I think somehow the indoor scenes are nicer in terms of lighting compare to outdoors. probably because of overhead to create outdoor scenes. It lacks quite a bit as well even with my 970gtx.

5'4 is short, lol.
My wife is 5'4", and I am 6'2". It seems about right to me if the average baddie is around 6 feet. They just aren't doing the Hollywood thing where everyone is a similar height even when they aren't. Plus, baddies are scarier when they are bigger.

Base on this simple chart:
Your wife is not short, she is average actually.

The average women in USA is 5'4, Around 5'5 for European (shown), but no argument on who weight more!

Also the average baddies is more like 6'6-6'9 base on my estimate in TR, as they are way higher than Lara. I took a picture when I can.

I noticed this too and at first thought it was that the people of this village were just tall people. Anna and Lara are about the same height but so is Jacob's daughter so that didn't fit with the whole village just being tall people.

Rise of the Tomb Raider First-Month PC Sales Triple Xbox One Debut

http://www.gamespot.com/articles/rise-of-the-tomb-raider-first-month-pc-sales-tripl/1100-6435094/

Research group Superdata today released its digital sales report for January 2016, and among other things, it was revealed that Square Enix's Rise of the Tomb Raider sold three times more copies on PC in its first month than the Xbox One version over the same period of time in November.

Superdata said initial Rise of the Tomb Raider Xbox One digital sales were "soft," due in part to the fact that the game launched on the same day as
Fallout 4 and was exclusive to Xbox One. The PC edition, meanwhile, arrived at the end of January and benefited from a "seasonal lull of AAA games," according to Superdata.

Dang, that is about 4 million then on Microsoft's Xbox and Microsoft's Windows. Very awesome!

I wonder if they count sales from the MS Store ($10 Rise of TR game - requires Windows 10 OS), nvidia Promo (free Rise of the TR steam digital game), and Gamestop ($18 Rise of TR steam digital game). But anyway, I got mine for $18 a few days ago. I can't wait to play it once I'm done with Borderlands.

Yep despite the article pointing out the One version sold over 1M.

But you know click bait

That launch date surely crippled TR on Xbox One, over 3 million copies of Fallout sold compared to barely a million.

Yeah I know without a doubt if Fallout didn't come out then I'd own TR right now.

For sure. Picking up Rise of the Tomb Raider in November wasn't even an option for me because of Fallout 4. Developers need to spread the release dates out. Why would you go head to head with a mega franchise?

I finished the game about a week ago and really enjoyed it. I just have to do the score attack mode or whatever to clean up some achievements. I might get the Baby Yaga DLC. I don't know yet.

Yeah I don't know why they did that really even an early December release would of been better. I've been plodding along in the game just really enjoying exploring and doing the optional tombs, trying to 100% it but don't want it to get in the way of my enjoyment. Too many other games to play too.

Just buy both silly buns. That is what I did in November :) They are over 4 million sold, so I think they are happy anyway!

I have to say I am surprised they are outsourcing this port. They must be working up on a follow up game.

Eidos/SE Europe has always worked like that, they use certain studios as a port shop. The qualities are generally good so I'm okay with that though. The only thing that surprises me is that they are using Avalanche as that, but I guess as they have two studios that just finished the game last year, maybe they are free.

Got the 1,000 the other night. What a game. I hope Uncharted 4 is this good. It's already at a disadvantage because Lara > Drake. Dat ass.

What if Sony and Microsoft worked together next time and made a game where Nathan and Lara start out as enemies, but fighting for the same cause, and then end up getting together at the end, banging the s*** out of each other? Some "Untombed" s*** right there yo.

Microsoft announces the next DLC for ROTR:

Cold Darkness Awakened, the next expansion for Rise of the Tomb Raider, comes out on March 29, Microsoft and Crystal Dynamics announced today.

It will be available on that date forXbox One, Xbox 360, and PC. A new trailer has also been released.

Cold Darkness Awakened takes players to a decommissioned Cold War research base. It's been overrun, however, and a "deadly affliction" pours out from it.

"As the illness seeps into the wilderness surrounding the base, Trinity soldiers transform into bloodthirsty killers who thrive on carnage," reads a line from the expansion's description. "To prevent the affliction from spreading, Lara must rely on her wits, physical agility, and crafting abilities to overcome this new enemy and shut down the decommissioned base."

Cold Darkness Awakened is Rise of the Tomb Raider's third add-on, following Endurance Mode (December 2015) and Baba Yaga: The Temple of the Witch (January 2016). It's included with the Rise of the Tomb Raider Season Pass, which sells for $30. Microsoft did not say how much Cold Darkness Awakened will go for on its own, but we have followed up with Microsoft in an attempt to get more details.

Cant believe how good this looks and plays. I'll be in the front row for the new DLC for sure.
