nah, that’s there subtle confirmation that it doesn’t exist, that logo just wouldn’t work if you turned it on it’s side, 90 degrees.
They should have rounded off the inside edges of one of the lines of the X to create the Xbox sphere.
I really don't care for the logo. But, I also prefered the OG Xbox logo over the 360 sphere and now I'm fine with that one.
Seems like they're trying to be consistent the straight lines and verticality of the console itself.
I am sure "devs don't count" this week...but I will post this anyway...

- Hardware-accelerated ray tracing is also a very welcome feature.
- The SSD storage speed then lets us take those beautiful realistic environments and make them load in a flash
- addition of hardware ray tracing is also super exciting

It does but it's the better of the ugly next gen logos.
I bet NO! Just because I don't care about PD, lol. Gimme something new!!
Edit: That logo makes me think of Home Depot for some reason, lol. It doesn't make me think of Tech. Being a fan of DIY, I don't necessarily hate it, but it doesn't necessarily fit for me, either.

I can’t find the source right now, but I was just reading something that said we should see at least a glimpse at E3 of what they are making, but it’s something totally new and still earlier in development.
I hope that’s true.
Fable and Perfect Dark will be in name only IMO. Both the classic game designs and old art styles would be outdated for a AAA reboot. Both have pretty open templates.
To me what made Fable famous was it was going to be a colorful, more whimsical fantasy RPG where your decisions would impact the world. It never reached that goal.
Perfect Dark on the N64 was one of the highest rated games ever because for its time, it was the most dynamic console game where you could beat missions in different ways. Joanna was a replacement for James Bond in a cyberpunk universe...with Aliens. There's so much you can do there. Cyberpunk is back in. Dynamic gameplay can evolve with next gen CPUs.

how bout a new banjo game in the mold of the new god of war? A mature and gritty platformer but they keep the silly sounds they make, for the kids

Maybe the sad part of Perfect Dark is that it indirectly kills my AAA Shadowrun RPG dream. With Cyberpunk from CDPR and Microsoft's major marketing deal that will receive long tail support, a 3rd person Perfect Dark cyberpunk game...it's hard to imagine they'd dip back into that setting again with Shadowrun. Still one of the most under-utilized IPs in gaming IMO. The old FASA IPs, Shadowrun, MechWarrior/Battletech and Crimson Skies all were under-used or mis-used by old Microsoft management.
Lol. Someone did say that the Series X was like stacking two Gamecube’s on top of each other.
The Series X controller will be only slightly better than the current controller as far as we know (D-pad upgrade and share button), so I guess judge from that. I personally think it comes down to how much you would use the customizable paddles on the Elite controller.
Legit Elite controller 2 is #1 reason Xbox stays my primary platform. Train yourself to use paddles and you'll never want to go back
