I'm hearing several people say that Xbox One multiplayer wasn't even available at the event, so IGN might have made a mistake.
Correct but it has been playable elsewhere and looked fine from the videos on youtube.

Yeah, again, getting out your magnifying glasses and explaining in excruciating technical detail why the PS4 version is better than the XB1 seems to be just excuses for refusing to admit that the Xbox can hold its own.
In my honest opinion I think the X1 looks better overall, some may disagree, I welcome different opinions, that's why I'm on a forum, but I've been looking at both and in almost every shot the X1 has an edge over the PS4.
Let it go.Gawd, lol, this is what's it's come to.
But the XboxOne wasn't SUPPOSED TO JUST "HOLD IT'S OWN"!!
For many months, we've endured a couple individuals here & at TXB who've blasted the PS4 as inferior, that the XboxOne had some "secret sauce", "hidden chips", superior design, etc. They've written WALLS of lecturing posts on how much better the Xbox One was going to be.
Now here we are with the details of the first multiplatform game by a AAA developer...and the XboxOne is clearly NOT holding its own.
1280x720 versus 1600x900. 50% less pixels! More jaggies. Less effects. Downgrade textures. Hits to the framerate. What in the world happened?!
...Wait, wasn't there a rumor from one of these lowlife lying MS haters, from that sad hating anti-MS forum, that held the stupid notion that PS4's hardware on paper looked 50% more powerful? Oh yea...that's right.
So here we finally are at the point where those individuals can get called out on those claims, and we can say "Hey! We thought you said XboxOne was going to be more powerful and the PS4 was doomed?! You said multiplats will look better on XboxOne, and PS4 will have a serious downgrade". All that tech talk mumbo jumbo and smoke & mirrors, lol.
But I know those questions will never be answered truthfully, because A) Those Xbox prophets will just spin more BS*, and B) posts like this one will get flagged for being trolls and their posts removed.
*MS has yet to flip the Big Switch, activating the Infinite Power of the Cloud© which will suddenly transform XboxOne BF4 from current Xbox360 resolutions to 4k & Beyond resolutions, with immeasurable PC benchmark scores.
No reasonable person expected any real differences with the multi-plat games. I don't recall anyone seriously suggesting that MS was just going to "flip a switch" and trump Sony at launch... it's more of a dimmer, that will be turned on slowly over the next few years. Slow and oh so painful.Gawd, lol, this is what's it's come to.

They both submit.Well according to everyone else there's a massive conspiracy to make MS/XBO look bad. So...unstoppable force vs immovable object!
Ambient OcclusionBit late to the party. What does AO mean?
Perhaps jackfrags should have waited before his coments. There's more?!
Yeah I don't think the IGN videos are accurate, they can't be!Has anyone found a better X1 MP video that that awful stuff IGN showed........also, isn't their a big event on Friday US v Europe on BF4 MP? why on earth would they do this, if the X1 looks like the IGN video?????
I am guessing something not quite right about IGN's video.....
Because launch games can come down to the wire, it is difficult to judge the graphics/performance for comparisons. Everything can come in hot.
I still predict the XBOX ONE to edge out PS4 graphically by hardware alone. But both systems are close. To be fair, the games are run on development kits, but having said that, when Dice decided that xbox version will run at a lower setting, its telling that they think its not on par with PS4, at least at current point of time. But who knows in future when they can optimise their tool.
But I learn there is no point in posting any non positive things on XBOX on an essential xbox forum.
Anyway, i made up my mind that I will not get xbox one system at launch, & use that money to get a tablet I wanted for a while. Had they still Day one edition with free Forza or Fifa, i would have preordered. Not getting PS4 also, as there is no titles I am remotely interested at launch. I think personally, had Killzone not been a Sony first party game, few people will even talk abiout it. but its just me.
I do not see much advantages in buying cross gen games, which will be most 3rd party games for PS4 anyway, other than sharper textures & some effects more.
I certaly hope that when the tools for XBOX one have been optimse, so we will not see xbox game with lower res compare to it competitor in any Multiplatform games in future.
Desprite the supposely more powerful PS4, my heart is still with xbox, but I will wait a bit longer before making a more informed decision. For now, til maybe next spring or summer, I will enjoy my backlog of xbox360 games.

The XBOX ONE's hardware is different enough that programmers will have to make console specific changes. Don't know if that was the case with AO, or just how it worked out that way.
Microsoft has announced that Halo: Spartan Assault -- the top-down, twin-stick shooter previously exclusive to Windows Phone, Surface, and Windows 8 -- will be released as an Xbox One and Xbox 360 digital download this December. A price has not yet been confirmed.
