You never played the console version of any DS games? I'm not saying anything out of the ordinary, just saying give it a chance before slamming it. I understand its a threat to your preferred console but what if it works well? Is that bad for you somehow? I don't understand how you could want this to fail.
I never had a issue with Demons Souls(PS3) or Dark Souls(360) besides a 30fps .. If you follow me 30fps is usually something I complain about and sometimes get over.

I don't see a $200 cell phone in a box with bad input lag and high(uncapped) speed internet needed to play being a threat to anyone but nVidias pocket when/if it fails.
DS console has bad input lag, but its playable and no one says anything.

Playing games I like on consoles I ALREADY own that have a thing I don't like about them is nowhere near the same thing as me buying a Cell phone in a box that has a few major things I don't.
As mentioned already the 4K streaming I am interested in but that is it.

We'll see. I doubt it though. You have to factor in alot of things, server latency, video encode latency, control input latency, etc. It all adds up. I will tell you right now that streaming games on a LAN with gamestream (which uses same tech as Nvidias GRID) is not playable by my definition and I have a very robust wireless network at my home.
Val, I think you've made your point clear, repeatedly. Continuing with the negativity at this point is going to be considered trolling. If you don't have any interest in or respect for the console, fine. But you don't need to continue hammering away at it. The thread needs to be a place where people who have an interest in the console can discuss it, without all the negativity and sidetracking.

This. There is a way to be skeptical without trying to be disrespectful. There are plenty in the thread actually discussing the device and the attendant network without the over-emotional sneering and spitefulness.
For what it's worth, I hope it does work, but I just don't see how at this point. It will be interesting to get some real-world hands-on impressions!
